Founder, President and Chief Executive Officer, Ed Lette, has become founding president of four national bank charters, including Business Bank of Texas, and has served as Chief Financial Officer for five national banks over the course of his 45-year career. The bank also recently shed its de novo bank classification as scheduled.

Edward L. Lette
Ed Lette is founder, president and chief executive officer of Business Bank of Texas, N.A. and serves as chairman on the company’s Board of Directors.
Serving as a licensed CPA since 1983, Ed’s extensive experience in the banking industry has led him to become the founding president of four national bank charters including Business Bank of Texas, N.A., and the chief financial officer of five national banks during his 45 year career. Ed serves as director of the Texas Bankers Association District 4, chairman of the Executive Advisory Council to the School of Business at Texas Lutheran University, and is a life member of the Texas Association of Business.
Mary Ann Hebel
Mary Ann Hebel is organizer, director, executive vice president and chief financial officer of Business Bank of Texas, N.A.
With over 37 years of banking experience, Mary Ann began her career in the areas of accounting, data processing and human resources. In 1979 she was promoted to the role of Chief Operating Officer and Chief Financial Officer of a national bank. She has since served the COO/CFO position and contributed to the success of two other national banks prior to the establishment of the Business Bank of Texas, N.A.
Mary Ann has also served as a consultant to the Texas Department of Banking in the capacity of liquidation agent for failed trust companies and private banks.
DJ Lewis
DJ Lewis is a Sr. Vice President at Business Bank of Texas, N.A.
D.J. is responsible for business development and relationship management for Business Bank of Texas, N.A. He graduated in 1993 from the University of Houston with a BBA in Accounting. While attending college he started his career in banking working at a small Savings and Loan. In 1991 that same Savings and Loan was acquired by a large national bank. Soon after the acquisition, D.J. took advantage of an opportunity to transfer to Austin where he has called home for the past 15 years. After 19 years with a large national bank D. J. was presented with another opportunity and made the decision in October 2010 to start a career with Business Bank of Texas, N.A.
Ladd Roberts
Ladd Roberts is a Sr. Vice President at Business Bank of Texas, N.A. With over 30 years experience in the banking industry, Ladd brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to the bank. For the past 24 years he has served as a small business lender / account manager for several San Antonio area banks. Ladd has a reputation for being a hard working lending officer focused on his customer’s needs. Ladd is active in the community and has served as president of the San Antonio Risk Management Association (RMA), the San Antonio Breakfast Club and a local Rotary Club.
He received a B.S degree from Texas A&M (1976), MBA from University of Texas – San Antonio (2002), and attended the prestigious Southwestern Graduate School of Banking at SMU (1991).
Gary Green
Gary Green is a Sr. Vice President at Business Bank of Texas, N.A.
Gary attended the University of Texas for his undergraduate degree, and then went on to receive a master’s degree from the Southwestern Graduate School of Banking. Since then he’s worked at several banks, most recently as the branch president of First National Bank Edinburg. Prior to that, he served as the senior vice president at Prosperity Bank. Gary has been in banking for over 40 years, and in the Austin market for nearly 30 of those.
